GM Revises CardThe General Motors MasterCard issued by Household Bank has been one of the most successful credit cards around. Cardholders are not charged an annual fee and can accumulate rewards at the rate of five percent of every dollar spent. Until recently there was an annual $500 cap on earnings. The cap has recently been modified to allow more generous ceilings depending upon the model of GM car being purchased. The rewards range from $1,000 for lower-priced cars up to $3,500 for a Cadillac Escalade. GM also offers other spending opportunities for points that are about to expire through arrangements with such firms as Panasonic, Loew's Theatres, Marriott Hotels and Resorts, Ritz Carlton and Alamo Rent-a-Car.
