Citibank has announced a plan by which its cardholders may earn money towards their children's college tuition. In conjunction with UPromise, cardholders can earn up to $300 per year at a rate of one percent of their purchases using the Citibank card. Citibank is the largest of the general card issuers to sign up for the program. CardLine reports that UPromise (Brookline, MA), which was founded last year, has developed the unique college tuition plan. Individuals may sign up for the program by logging on to www.upromise.com.
